About Us

We are the designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Riverside County

The Office on Aging, one of 52 County departments, is authorized by the Older Americans Act and the Older Californians Act. The department is charged with developing a system of care that offers safety net services for vulnerable older persons and adults with disabilities.

Our programs and services have been adjusted to continue to serve those who are affected by novel coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.

Our offices are closed to the public, but services may be requested by calling 800-510-2020.

Aging & Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) Program

In 2008, the Office on Aging received the designation of an Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC). The ADRC initiative is a collaborative effort of the U.S. Administration on Aging and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This initiative is designed to streamline access to long-term services and supports by creating a "no wrong door" approach to assisting all individuals, regardless of age, ability or income.
